Mission Statement
 
In the spirit of our Great Western Heritage, and by empowering the community and its volunteers to give of their time, skills, and talents, Roundup for Autism will raise money for the Autism Treatment Centers of Texas’ daily operations and expansion of services bringing happiness and fulfillment  by improving the quality of life for people with autism.

The Autism Treatment Center will assist people with autism and related disorders throughout their lives as they learn, play, work and live in the community.

With over 32 Years of Service, the Autism Treatment Centers of Texas (ATC) have provided educational, employment and residential services for children and adults with autism. ATC is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation that serves both children and adults with autism, and those who are multi-handicapped. ATC provides its services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The services include research, residential, educational, training, therapeutic, and occupational opportunities.

Services for individuals with autism are needed more than ever as shown by the statistics listed below.
 

617% increase in the incidence of autism in Texas
 1 child in 150 will have autism
 Fastest-growing developmental disability
 Every day 50 families in America are told their child has autism
1 to 1.5 million children and adults with autism in the U.S. today

US Bill Autism Statement:

“Autism is the most widely diagnosed developmental disability in the nation, affecting 1 in 166 children,
a ten fold increase over the past 20 years. It is more common than the sum of all childhood cancers,
muscular dystrophy, juvenile diabetes and cystic fibrosis combined.
Every day, 66 children are diagnosed with autism, nearly three per hour.”
